Toda: Monday, December 29, 2008

An uneventual day this warm Monday, bright sunshine and approximately 54 degrees.

Just saw on the news that Israel is still bombing the Gaza strip. Nearly four hundred Palestinians have been killed in three days of bombings, mostly ordinary citizens such as babies, women and old people. The Israelis never seem to have any respect for the innocent people like women, children and old people. Supposedly, they were after Hamas, but they know perfectly well everyone will be harmed except perhaps, Hamas. Then they call these innocent people "terrorists." Sure, toddlers make dangerous terrorists!

We supply Israel with advanced weaponry. In essence we are assisting them in this war on the Palestinians. President Bush asked the war mongers not to hurt the children. Mindboggling! When bombs fall I suppose they are going to be so smart they will know how to avoid children.

Also saw in the news where many people with health problems no longer can pay for their prescriptions as they have lost their jobs, have no health insurance and must use what little income they have to pay for rent and groceries. But no one says anything about getting rid of the Fair Trade Deals which would help restore employment in America. Nor do the Politicians say anything about getting rid of the Federal Reserve central bank - or as some call it, the Crime Syndicate - and restore the gold standard making currency worth something which would wipe out inflation.

Americans do not deserve this economic disaster. We need to be isolationists and get things back to working for our best interests.
